Severe(D2) drought persisted across the entire zone in November. The Hillsboro Cooperative Observer reported 0.59 inches of precipitation which was 0.15 inches above normal.

Wider weather episode

Slightly above normal precipitation in November for most of southern New Mexico helped improve drought conditions a little bit over western zones.
