The month started with Severe(D2) drought in the east and Moderate(D1) drought over the west. By the end of November, Severe(D2) drought covered all areas except the far southwest where Moderate(D1) drought continued.

Wider weather episode

Slightly above normal precipitation in November for most of southern New Mexico helped improve drought conditions a little bit over western zones.
