The entire zone started out the month in Severe(D2) drought. By the end of the month, the east improved to Moderate(D1) drought with no change in the west.

Wider weather episode

Slightly above normal precipitation in November for most of southern New Mexico helped improve drought conditions a little bit over western zones.
