Late during the night of the 25th into the following morning on the 26th, strong wind gusts overspread southern Lake Michigan. The Harrison-Dever Crib recorded a peak gust of 52 kt. The Michigan City C-MAN station peaked at 57 kt, but recorded frequent gusts greater than 50 kt for a several hour period.
