Generally 4 to 8 inches of snow fell across the area with locally higher amounts up to 13 inches at Columbus Basin.

Wider weather episode

A closed low pressure system over Southern California lifted northeast towards the Four Corners and tracked across southeast Utah and southwest Colorado as an open wave. This resulted in light to moderate snowfall accumulations favoring the southwest San Juan Mountains with much less snow elsewhere.
