The drought monitor indicated moderate/severe drought conditions across Runnels County during the month of November.

Wider weather episode

The drought intensified across west central Texas during the month of November. There was moderate drought east of a Sweetwater to San Angelo to Sonora line by mid November. In addition, there was severe/extreme drought across northern portions of the Heartland.
