Frequent gust of 55 to 60 MPH were recorded along Interstate 80 from WYDOT sensors. A maximum gust of 68 MPH from a WYDOT sensor at Foote Creek was recorded at 5:16 PM MST on 1/17.
The wider storm
A secondary arctic front dropping down from Canada lead to another round of brief high winds in the wind prones of southeast Wyoming and the northern Nebraska panhandle.
