Snowfall reports ranged from 8.7 inches 2 miles southwest of Florid from a trained spotter to to 9.7 inches 1 mile west of Hennepin from the COOP Observer.

A long duration winter storm tracked across the region Friday night through late Saturday night. Widespread snowfall amounts of 8 to 12 inches. This will likely go down as one of the highest snowfall events for any year for the month of November in northwest Illinois. Numerous accidents including a few jackknifed semis on I-80 and I-74 and several road closures occurred with this event.
