The Official NWS Observation at the Davenport Municipal Airport reported 10.6 inches of snow. Trained spotter reports ranged from 9. 0 inches 3 miles west southwest of in southeast Davenport to 11.0 inches 1 mile northeast of Park View.

Wider weather episode

A long duration winter storm tracked across the region Friday night through late Saturday night. There are widespread snowfall reports of 7 to 14 inches with the heaviest snow falling along and north of Interstate 80. Northwest winds gusting between 40 to 50 mph developed Saturday night across the area as snow was coming to an end.
