The COOP Observer in Clinton reported 8.0 inches of snow. Trained spotter reports ranged from 7.4 inches in Lost Nation to 9.0 inches 1 mile west of Fulton.

Wider weather episode

A long duration winter storm tracked across the region Friday night through late Saturday night. There are widespread snowfall reports of 7 to 14 inches with the heaviest snow falling along and north of Interstate 80. Northwest winds gusting between 40 to 50 mph developed Saturday night across the area as snow was coming to an end.
