Several hours of dense fog was observed at Quakertown Airport and Pennridge Airport.

Wider weather episode

Warm air lifting above antecedent cold and moist air resulted in dense fog across portions of eastern Pennsylvania starting just before midnight on December 29th. The fog dissipated as the front lifted north towards noon.
