Winter storm oved across the area evening of the 28th, through the overnight hours and exited the region by mid-afternoon on the 29th. Snow reports gathered on the 29th yielded up to around 5 inches in Grundy county and as much as 7 plus inches in the surrounding areas to the east and northeast.
