The Official NWS Observation at the Dubuque Regional Airport was 12.3 inches of snow. Trained spotter reports ranged from 11.0 inches 1 mile northwest of Center Grove to 14.0 inches 2 miles southeast of Asbury.

Wider weather episode

A long duration winter storm tracked across the region Friday night through late Saturday night. There are widespread snowfall reports of 7 to 14 inches with the heaviest snow falling along and north of Interstate 80. Northwest winds gusting between 40 to 50 mph developed Saturday night across the area as snow was coming to an end.
