Most snowfall reports were around 2 inches across the zone. These included; an official NWS observation at Bridgeport of 2.1 inches, trained spotters with 2.1 inches at 2 ENE New Canaan, and 1.9 inches at 2 N Norwalk. The public reported 2.2 inches in Greenwich, and 2.2 inches at 4 SSE Easton.

Wider weather episode

An elevated warm front which resulted in warm advection in the mid levels resulted in an accumulating snow across northwestern portions of Southern Connecticut. The first of 2 accumulating snowfalls within 48 hours.
