Snow and winds brought nearly impossible travel conditions to much of Oceana County. Wind gusts over 50 mph were recorded in multiple spots in the county.
The wider storm
Sustained winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts over 50 mph were common with a winter storm that brought 4 to 8 inches of snow to Lower Michigan November 26-27. This impacted holiday travel as the snow and wind started the day before Thanksgiving and continued through the Thanksgiving holiday. All forms of transportation were impacted by this storm.
