Recorded wind gusts over 50mph occurred across the county for many hours. This wind combined with snow to result in dangerous travel conditions.

Sustained winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts over 50 mph were common with a winter storm that brought 4 to 8 inches of snow to Lower Michigan November 26-27. This impacted holiday travel as the snow and wind started the day before Thanksgiving and continued through the Thanksgiving holiday. All forms of transportation were impacted by this storm.
