Generally 12 to 14 inches of snow fell with some of the higher amounts being 15 inches in Tiverton and 12.5 inches in Middleton.

The wider storm

A low pressure moved through the eastern U.S. bringing a plume of deep moisture over top of an arctic airmass which brough 1-2 feet of snow to southern New England Sunday through Tuesday morning. The biggest total was 27 inches in Gloucester, MA.
