Totals near 0.5 inches countywide, with locally higher totals. Highest accumulation of 0.6 inches observed near Portage. Blowing snow & reduced visibilities lead to lingering travel impacts after snow ends.

Light snow moved across southern Wisconsin during the afternoon and evening hours of January 18, bringing accumulations generally between 0.5 and 1 inch, with some locally higher totals. While accumulation was light, the newly-fallen snow combined with increasing & gusty winds to result in reduced visibilities into the morning of January 19. The blowing snow and lowered visibilities brought some impacts to the morning commute on January 19.
