Another zonal flow pattern with a strong pressure gradient formed over Nevada, again with low pressure to the north and high pressue over the Southwest U.S. This pattern persisted for several days, which brought strong winds to portions of northern and central Nevada with light rain/snow showers through the Christmas week.
