Event narrative
This winter system brought heavy snow accumulations of 5 to 7 inches across much of Clark County on December 9th and 10th. The highest observed snowfall total in the county was 8 miles northwest of Willard where 6.8 inches of snow was reported.
Wider weather episode
During much of the daytime hours on December 9th, a strong clipper system brought heavy snow to portions of northern and west-central Wisconsin with amounts as high as 6 to 8 inches falling in a narrow corridor across Clark County. Amounts progressively lessened for areas south of Interstate 94.
