Multiple high wind gusts were measured across the area, including 59 mph at ASOS station KHWV - Shirley Airport at 954 AM, 59 mph at mesonet station XMOR - East Moriches Campground at 1000 AM, 60 mph at mesonet station EW4378 - Brookhaven at 1000 AM, and 61 mph at mesonet station XSHN - Shinnecock in Hampton Bays at 1000 AM.
