A measured high wind gust of 67 mph occurred at KGON - Groton Airport at 1101 AM Local Standard Time, and an estimated gust of 66 mph was recorded at mesonet station XSTO - Stonington Outer Breakwater 4, approximately 1 mile south of Stonington Point at 1103 AM Local Standard Time. Additionally, the local Department of Highways reported power lines down on Route 156/Shore Road at Four Mile River Road at 1114 AM Local Standard Time.
