Event narrative

A winter storm moved into southeast Texas on the night of the 24th. Late in the night, an amateur radio operator reported sleet on TX 21 between Crockett and Austonio. On the morning of the 25th, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department measured 0.25 inches of ice in Mission Tejas State Park. Houston county Sheriffs Office later reported multiple power outages and downed tree limbs across the county in the aftermath of the storm.
