A winter storm moved into southeast Texas on the night of the 24th. A mPING report from the public was received during the early morning of the 25th, indicating that freezing rain was occurring just east of Madisonville. Later that morning, Madison county Sheriffs Office reported a few downed trees and limbs with slick roads across the county.
