Snow and sleet totals ranged from around a dusting to 0.5 in most areas. The highest report was 0.5 from Lanoka Harbor. A light glaze of freezing rain/freezing drizzle also occurred across the county based on surrounding reports.
Wider weather episode
A winter storm accompanied by strong warm advection aloft brought a widespread wintry mix of precipitation to portions of the region. A coating of snow and sleet, as well as a coating of freezing rain was reported across much of eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and northern Delmarva. The heaviest totals were reported across northern New Jersey, where as much as 4 of snow fell.
