Winter Weather in Salem, New Jersey

Trace amounts of sleet totals were reported. A light glaze of freezing rain/freezing drizzle also occurred across the county.

A winter storm accompanied by strong warm advection aloft brought a widespread wintry mix of precipitation to portions of the region. A coating of snow and sleet, as well as a coating of freezing rain was reported across much of eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and northern Delmarva. The heaviest totals were reported across northern New Jersey, where as much as 4 of snow fell.
