Several SNOTEL stations including Ben Lomond Peak, Lightning Ridge, and Garden City Summit recorded from 1.5 to 3.2 inches of snow water equivalent, resulting in approximately 19 to 40 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

While somewhat mild by January standards, a moisture rich system brought a period of valley rain and mountain snow, with some higher accumulations noted particularly in portions of Utah's northern mountains.
