Heavy snow fell along the western slopes of the Bighorn Range, with a maximum of 15 inches of snow at the Bone Springs Divide SNOTEL site.
Wider weather episode
A Pacific weather system moved into Wyoming and brought heavy snow to the western mountains and valleys. The heaviest snow fell in the Tetons with 22 inches of new snow at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Over a foot of new snow also fell in portions of Yellowstone Park, the Absarokas, and the western Bighorn Range. For the valleys, up to 14 inches fell in Star Valley and 11 inches in Jackson Hole.
