Heavy snow fell in portions of the Star Valley, including 14 inches southeast of Smoot and 10 inches near Thayne.

A Pacific weather system moved into Wyoming and brought heavy snow to the western mountains and valleys. The heaviest snow fell in the Tetons with 22 inches of new snow at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Over a foot of new snow also fell in portions of Yellowstone Park, the Absarokas, and the western Bighorn Range. For the valleys, up to 14 inches fell in Star Valley and 11 inches in Jackson Hole.
