This winter system brought snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches to Wabasha County with the highest snowfall report in the county being 4 inches about 4 miles northwest of Dumfries.

During the daytime hours on December 9th, a strong clipper brought a round of snow to portions of southeast Minnesota. While amounts were under 6 inches for most of southeast Minnesota, the snow did contribute to one vehicle accident in Olmsted County which resulted in two individuals receiving non-life threatening injuries.
