What the National Weather Service wrote

Snowfall totals of 3 to 6 inches were recorded across the southern half of the county. A high report of 7 inches was received from about 6 miles east-southeast of Aitkin.

The wider storm

A clipper system moved northwest to southeast to the south of the Northland on the 9th into the 10th. This track brought an area of heavy snowfall from the Brainerd Lakes and Walker areas eastward into the I-35 corridor and into parts of northwest Wisconsin. Snowfall totals in this area were in the 5 to 7 inch range with a few areas seeing up to around 8 inches of accumulation.
