A trained spotter with a picture on Facebook measured flat ice accumulation on elevated surfaces generally around an eighth of an inch. Other objects in the picture suggest accumulations around 0.25 to 0.3 inches are possible. Impacts: Light ice accretion, slick surfaces.

Wider weather episode

Freezing Fog and some freezing drizzle developed across northwest Kansas. Light ice amounts were reported across northwest Kansas with the exception of a social media report with a picture of a ruler with around 0.25-0.3 inches of flat ice accretion on the side of a rain gauge.
