Wichita Emergency Manager estimated 5-7 inches of snow in the southern portion of Wichita county. 5 inches of snow was reported in Leoti at 1353 CST with snow still falling at the time of report.

Snow developed across western Kansas during the early morning hours of the 9th before ending during the late afternoon/early evening hours on the 9th. The highest snowfall amounts occurred across Greeley and Wichita counties with 3 inches reported in Tribune and 5-7 inches in Wichita county.
