Snowfall totaled 3.1 inches at Sergeant Bluff and 1.0 inch at Emerson.

A quick-moving low pressure system dropped southeastward across the Northern Plains on December 6. Light snow resulted in accumulations from 2 to 4 inches across northeast Nebraska. Roads were slick and snow covered, resulting in hazardous travel. Some patchy freezing drizzle fell as well after the bulk of the snow moved out of the region.
