A quick-moving low pressure system dropped southeastward across the Northern Plains on December 6. Light snow resulted in accumulations from 1 to 5 inches across southwest Minnesota. Roads were slick and snow covered, resulting in hazardous travel. Some patchy freezing drizzle fell as well after the bulk of the snow moved out of the region.
