The CoCoRaHS observer 4 miles ENE of Horace, reported 6.5 inches of storm total snowfall accumulation.
Wider weather episode
A clipper type system brought light to moderate snowfall generally ranging from 2 to 5 inches to parts of eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota, followed by gusty winds. There was one lightly localized area of heavier snow greater than 6 inches in far southeast Cass and northeast Richland county. The most frequent wind gusts of 35 mph or higher remained in far eastern Richland county in southeast North Dakota where blizzard conditions were observed. Near blizzard conditions were observed elsewhere in eastern North Dakota.
