A spotter in Grandview Heights measured 4.5 inches of snow. Public reports from Worthington, Ghent, and Carrollton also indicated that 4.5 inches had fallen.

An upper level disturbance passed across the Ohio Valley during the early morning hours of the second. Ahead of this snow spread from west to east, beginning in the evening and ending shortly after daybreak.
