A spotter north of Summerside measured 4.5 inches of snow. Four inches of snow was reported in both Bethel and near Loveland.

An upper level disturbance passed across the Ohio Valley during the early morning hours of the second. Ahead of this snow spread from west to east, beginning in the evening and ending shortly after daybreak.
