A spotter 4 miles northeast of Fivemile measured 4.5 inches of snow. Four inches was measured by both a CoCoRaHS and cooperative observer located 2.5 miles east of Mowrystown.

Wider weather episode

An upper level disturbance passed across the Ohio Valley during the early morning hours of the second. Ahead of this snow spread from west to east, beginning in the evening and ending shortly after daybreak.
