The observer north of Fort Loramie and a cooperative observer in Fort Loramie both measured 5.5 inches of snow. Another report from 2 miles north of Sidney also recorded 5.5 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

An upper level disturbance passed across the Ohio Valley during the early morning hours of the second. Ahead of this snow spread from west to east, beginning in the evening and ending shortly after daybreak.
