The observer located 2.3 miles west-northwest of Huber Heights measured 4.9 inches of snow. Numerous observations across the county indicated that snowfall was generally between 3.5 and 4 inches.

An upper level disturbance passed across the Ohio Valley during the early morning hours of the second. Ahead of this snow spread from west to east, beginning in the evening and ending shortly after daybreak.
