Station recorded a gust of 70 mph 5 miles East of Douglas at 0648 LST. Numerous trees down with downed power lines and property damage in Waterville. Damage cost is estimated.

A strong cold front moved through Eastern Washington early morning on December 17. It brought gusts in the range 60 to 72 mph. Numerous of reports of downed trees and powerlines. Minor structure damage was reported as some trees fell on houses.
