What the National Weather Service wrote

Station CRKI1 at Corral Creek recorded a gust of 67 mph at 0649 LST. Mesonet station EW6538 recorded a gusts o f 59 at 0424 LST. Law enforcement reported downed trees and powerlines blocking roads in Craigmont area. Damage cost is estimated.

The wider storm

A strong cold front moved through Idaho Panhandle early morning on December 17. It brought gusts in the range 60 to 72 mph. Numerous of reports of downed trees and powerlines. One fatality was reported in the Fernan Lake Village area from tree falling on house. Other minor structure damage was reported as some trees fell on houses.
