A spotter in Georgetown measured 5 inches of snow. The CoCoRaHS observer east of Sardinia measured 4.5 inches, and 3.5 inches was measured by another observer southeast of Hamersville.

A strong low pressure system moving through the Ohio Valley produced widespread snowfall during the afternoon and evening hours of Saturday, December 13, associated with the passage of an Arctic air mass.
