A public report from 2 miles west-southwest of South Webster indicated that 3 inches of snow fell, as did another public report from 7 miles south of Beaver. Based on surrounding observations, it is estimated that over 4 inches of snow was common over the western half of the county.

A strong low pressure system moving through the Ohio Valley produced widespread snowfall during the afternoon and evening hours of Saturday, December 13, associated with the passage of an Arctic air mass.
