Public report of 7 inches of snow 6 miles south-southeast of Hill City the morning of the 24th. Hill City ASOS recorded 0.5 mile visibilities overnight due to heavy snow.

Starting in the evening of the 23rd and continuing into the morning of the 24th, a winter storm moved across northwestern Kansas. Graham county received the highest snowfall amounts of up to 7 inches. Around midnight, the Hill City airport reported less than 0.5 mile visibility in blowing snow as winds were only around 10-15 MPH. Across the rest of the area, 1-5 inches of snowfall was reported by morning. The heavy snow caused reduced visibilities and slick roads, causing travel impacts.
