A band of snow set up across northeast South Dakota on the morning of February 28th. 8.3 inches of fluffy light snow was measured 4 miles north of Bristol, with 6.1 inches in Doland. Observers in Chelsea, Columbia, Garden City and 2 miles north of the Hamlin Education Center all submitted 6 inches of total snowfall.
