A 65 mph wind gust was recorded from ambient weather station located 6 NNW Wauneta. A 61 mph wind gust was recorded from ambient weather station located 7 N Beecher Island. A 60 mph wind gust from an AWS was recorded at 7 S Laird. A 58 mph wind gust was recorded from AWOS (K2V5) at 2 NW Wray. Two 58 mph wind gusts from AWOS K2V6 located 1 SSE Yuma.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front moved through northeast Colorado on the evening of the 15th. Multiple wind gusts ranging from 55 mph - 65 mph were recorded. Blowing dust with visibility around 0.10 miles reported.
