A secondary max associated with an inverted trough was observed from the Catoctins down to northern Montgomery county where 3 to 8 inches fell. Upwards of 12 inches were observed across the Catoctins. Another max of 3 to 6 inches was observed across Calvert and St. Mary's counties. The final max was Carroll to Cecil counties where 4 to 9 inches fell. Elsewhere across the DC and Baltimore metro, there was a relative minimum of 2 to 4 inches. Very little snow fell across eastern Allegany into far western Washington County.
