An Arctic cold front moved through southeast Missouri on the morning of the 30th, bringing cold temperatures down to the teens. Blustery northwest winds caused wind chills to fall around -5 to -10. Intervals of dangerous wind chills was variable across the region during the morning hours on the 30th and 31st with areas southwest of Route 72 and along Interstate 55 remaining above threshold.
